Young Israel of West Rogers Park wishes its members and friends a Shabbat Shalom!

Purim begins on Wednesday evening, February 28 and continues on Thursday, March 1.
This Shabbat is "Shabbat Sha'alvim," in celebration of Yeshivat Sha'alvim, Israel. Young Israel of West Rogers Park is proud to be taking part (see the attached flyer and Shabbat schedule or visit www.shaalvim.org/Chicago).
Rabbi Mayer Simcha Stromer, who is an alumnus of Yeshivat Sha'alvim, will give the drashah in honor of Shabbat Sha'alvim.

Sha'alvim Talks! offers a "TED Talks"-style Melaveh Malkah event this Motzaei Shabbat, February 17, at 8:00pm at Congregation K.I.N.S. A panel of Sha'alvim rabbinical alumni will present short, powerful talks on the topic, "Igniting the Flame: Finding Passion in Our Lives."
