Safety at Shul
At this time of heightened concern about the safety of Jews throughout the country, Young Israel of West Rogers Park has introduced a locked-door policy. The Shul will make every effort to position a volunteer by the front door to safely welcome friends and members to our davening, classes, meetings, and other programs.  If you come to Shul at one of these times and see that a greeter is not present, please knock for entry.  Thanks for your understanding.

If you would like to sponsor a Kiddush, Seudah Shelishit, or other shul program, please send an email to kiddush@yiwrp.com

Shiurim (classes)

Unless otherwise specified, shiurim and classes take place at Young Israel. All are welcome to participate.

  • The Navi (Prophets) shiur, which is currently learning the book of Shmuel (Samuel) will meet on Wednesday evening at 8:30pm. All are welcome. Learning is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Richard Chasman, z"l. For more information, please speak with Robbin Katzin.
